Read this before you begin
Button names may vary slightly by operating system and client, but the workflow is the same: get your personal subscription link, import it into the client, refresh the route list, then choose a route and connect.
Before you start, open this guide on the device you plan to use and keep the VPNQY user panel open. You will need to copy the subscription link between the panel and the client, so keeping both pages accessible will make the process smoother. Your subscription link is tied to your account permissions. Store it only on your own devices or in a trusted password manager; do not post it in public chats, forums, screenshots or shared documents.
This guide keeps only the essential path from account creation to a successful connection. Differences between route protocols, DNS issues, system proxy conflicts, background disconnections and complex network environments involve additional branches and are not suitable for a first-use walkthrough. If something still goes wrong after the basic steps, open the troubleshooting manual and continue based on the specific symptoms.
Create a VPNQY account
Create your account with a username and password; no email address is required. The username lets you sign in to the user panel, while the password protects your plan, subscription and order information.
After opening the VPNQY account creation page, enter a memorable username that is not identical to one used for another important service, then set a unique password. Check the details and submit the form. The page will open the user panel or ask you to sign in. If you reach the sign-in page, use the username and password you just set; no additional confirmation is required.
After signing in, confirm that the page shows the account overview, plan entry and client download entry. This is the hub for everything that follows: placing an order, getting a subscription, accessing the client and submitting support tickets. Save the panel address, but do not keep the session active in a browser on a shared device. If you are not ready to place an order, you can review the plan details first to compare monthly subscriptions and data packages.
If the username is unavailable after submission, return to the field and choose another one. If the password does not pass the page check, adjust it according to the prompt beside the field. Do not repeatedly refresh the payment page or create multiple accounts, as this can make subscription ownership harder to confirm. Once the account is created, choose a plan under the same account.
Set a username and password, then continue to the user panel.
Start FreeChoose a plan and complete your order
Choose between a monthly subscription that resets each month and a permanent data package that stays valid until used up, based on how you plan to use it.
In the plans section, you will find monthly subscriptions and data packages. Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB; data resets each month on the activation date. Data packages include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB; after purchase, they remain valid until used up and never expire. Choose based on your usual usage rather than selecting a larger tier for occasional use.
After confirming the plan, open the order page and check that the plan name, data allowance and amount match your selection. Then choose an available payment method from Alipay, WeChat or USDT. After payment, return to the user panel and wait for the order status to update. Continue to get the subscription link once the page shows that the plan is active. If payment is complete but the panel has not updated yet, do not submit the same order again; return to the orders section and check its status.
When you upgrade a monthly subscription partway through its term, the price difference is converted into remaining days. For first-time use, choose the tier that fits your current needs, complete the basic connection, then adjust it based on actual usage. All plans support unlimited simultaneous devices and include a 7-day no-questions-asked refund. See the plans page for the full pricing and data details.
Confirm the data allowance, term and amount, then complete the order in the user panel.
View PlansGet your subscription link in the user panel
Once the plan is active, find the subscription details in the account overview. The client uses this link to retrieve available routes and configuration.
Open the account overview in the user panel and find the subscription or subscription management section. The page usually offers options to copy the subscription, import it into a client or update the subscription. Use the copy button whenever possible instead of selecting the text manually, so you do not miss the end of the link. After copying, keep the user panel open; you will switch to the client for your platform and paste the link next.
The subscription link will look like a complete URL containing information tied to your account permissions. The address below is only a format example; it does not correspond to the VPNQY service and cannot be used to connect:
https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN
Do not paste your real subscription link into public online conversion tools, public code repositories, forums or shared screenshots. If the link is accidentally exposed, return to the user panel and check whether a reset option is available. If you are unsure what to do, open the support ticket section from the panel and explain the situation. Protecting the subscription link is as important as protecting your account password, because the client uses it to retrieve route configuration.
If subscription details are temporarily missing from the account overview, return to the orders section and confirm that the plan is active. Also make sure you are signed in to the account used to place the order. Once the status is correct, refresh the account overview and check the subscription section again. If it still does not appear, do not construct an address yourself; submit a support ticket through the user panel.
After the plan is active, copy your personal subscription link from the overview page.
Open the user panelImport the subscription into clients on each platform
Get the client from the user panel only. Do not search for installation files on unknown pages or give your personal subscription to tools unrelated to this service.
First open the “Download client” section in the user panel and choose the platform you use. Get the VPNQY client, install it, then return to the relevant section below. Button names vary by platform, but each one follows the same path: open the subscription entry, paste the link and update the routes.
Import the Windows client
After installing and opening the Windows client provided in the user panel, look for “Subscription,” “Add configuration” or “Import from clipboard.” Paste the link you copied earlier into the address field, give the subscription a recognizable name and save it. Return to the main screen and update it. When the region and route names appear, the import is complete.
If the list is still empty after saving, check that no spaces were added before or after the address, then copy it again. Some clients require you to select the newly added subscription before clicking update; saving the link without refreshing will not display routes immediately. After updating, avoid changing other network settings and proceed directly to connection verification.
Import the macOS client
Get and open the VPNQY client for macOS from the user panel. On first launch, macOS may ask you to allow a network extension or add a network configuration; read the system prompt and confirm it. Open subscription management in the client, add a new subscription address, paste your personal link, save it and update the list.
After a successful update, the client will show selectable routes. If System Settings shows a pending network extension confirmation, complete it before trying to connect. Do not enable multiple similar clients that take control of system networking, as their configurations may override one another. Once the routes appear, keep the default mode and continue verification.
Import the Android client
In the client download area of the user panel, choose Android, get the VPNQY client and install it. Open subscription management, choose Add subscription, Import from clipboard or Add configuration, paste the subscription link and save it. Then tap update and wait for the route list to finish loading.
When you connect for the first time, the system will show a permission window for creating a network configuration. Confirm it so the client can handle network requests on the device. If the route list appears but the connect button does nothing, check whether system permission was revoked, then return to the client and try again. Once imported, do not repeatedly add the same link; use Update subscription when routes change.
Import the iOS client
Open the iOS guide in the user panel and use the provided entry to get the appropriate client. After installation, open subscription or configuration management, choose Add from clipboard, paste your personal subscription link and refresh. Once the route list appears, return to the client home screen and choose a route.
On the first connection, the system will ask to allow a new network configuration. Confirm it and complete any device authorization that follows; the client can then show the connection status. If the import screen offers only scanning or pasting, use paste on the same device whenever possible. When importing from another device, do not leave subscription content in a public photo library or shared space.
The platform entry provides the relevant instructions based on your account status. The VPNQY marketing pages do not provide static installation packages or subscription addresses.
Choose a route and verify the configuration
For the first connection, use a nearby route that matches your needs. Once basic access works, compare other regions or route types.
Return to the client home screen and choose a route from the updated list. For general access, start with a geographically nearby region; for content limited to a particular region, choose that region instead. VPNQY offers IEPL dedicated lines, relay routes and direct connections. You do not need to compare every option on your first connection—start with one that connects reliably.
Click the client’s connection switch and wait for the status to change from disconnected to connected. After connecting, do not rely only on the button color. Open a familiar international website and check whether the page loads, images appear and the sign-in flow works. If an already open page still shows old results, open it again in a new tab to avoid cached content affecting the check.
After verifying a webpage, open the app you actually plan to use. If both the website and app work, the main path—subscription import, system authorization and route connection—is complete. You can save the current route as a preferred option. If a content platform requires a specific region, switch to that region and reopen the app so it reads the current exit location again.
When you are finished, disconnect from the client manually. The next time, you usually only need to open the client, update the subscription and connect; there is no need to paste the link again. If the routes in the user panel have changed but the client still shows the old list, update the subscription instead of adding the same configuration again.
- The client shows connected
- Familiar international websites load
- Images and sign-in flows work normally
- The target app is accessible
What to do when the connection is not working as expected
Check the subscription status, client update and system permissions first. Then determine whether the issue affects one route, one app or the entire network.
If the client shows no routes at all, check whether the plan is active, whether the subscription link is complete and whether you updated it after saving. If routes are present but will not connect, try another route, then close and reopen the client. If only one website or app is inaccessible while other pages work, the basic connection is established; investigate that specific use case instead of starting over with account creation.
If webpages still will not open after connecting, first close other tools that change network settings. Make sure only one client is active, then reconnect. On Windows and macOS, also check whether another app changed the system proxy or network extension. On Android and iOS, confirm that permission for the system network configuration is still active. Frequent disconnections, failed subscription updates, DNS issues and background interruptions each require a different diagnostic path; repeatedly changing settings can make the problem harder to isolate.
For further troubleshooting, open the VPNQY troubleshooting manual and choose the section matching your symptoms: “Cannot connect at all,” “Connected but webpages will not open,” “Slow speed,” “Subscription update failed” or “One app is inaccessible.” If you need to submit a support ticket, include your device system, the error shown by the client, the selected route type and the steps you have tried. Do not include your subscription link or password in a public place.
